Sometimes a small procedure can have a large impact on the overall perception of a person’s youth.

A lip lift, much like upper eyelid surgery, is one of those procedures. In this case, a small amount of skin was removed from the upper lip in order to provide rejuvenation and refreshed look. 9 millimeters seems so small, but just look at what it has done to her overall facial balance and perceived youth.

Look at how it has provided her with fuller red lips, despite not having a drop of filler placed. Notice how you can see her upper teeth again. She is only 2 months out and still has some swelling and scar improvement to look forward to, but I just can’t get enough of this beautiful and natural transformation!

The procedure takes about an hour to perform under local (numbing) medication. Swelling can last for several weeks, but most of my patients are ready to return to their social engagements by 2-3 weeks. It’s a small procedure, but it has a large impact on the right patient.
