About Dr. Gadaleta

As a teenager, Dr. Gadaleta suffered a severe facial trauma that required the care of an expert plastic surgeon, an experience that left an indelible impression on him and spurred his interest in medicine. Around that time, he was also developing a passion for drawing, painting, and sculpting, which he continues to pursue today. While enrolled in medical school at Boston University, Dr. Gadaleta decided to pursue facial plastic surgery as a way to combine these twin passions.

Following five years of residency training solely dedicated to surgery of the face and neck, Dr. Gadaleta was selected to be the sole Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellow at New York University, one of less than 50 positions offered throughout the entire country. Training in New York City offered Dr. Gadaleta access to some of the world’s most renowned facial surgeons. The busy year was spent dedicated to both surgical and nonsurgical approaches to facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, and hair restoration.

Dr. Gadaleta is an active member of the prestigious American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and board-certified through the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. In addition to his clinical accomplishments, he is an avid researcher, and works in some of the most cutting-edge spaces in medicine, including 3D printing and tissue engineering. He has presented his original research at national meetings throughout the country. He is thrilled to bring his skill set and artistic touch to the Bay Area to provide his clients with the safest, most innovative, and personalized techniques available.

Dr. Gadaleta takes the time to listen. He believes that when it comes to surgery of the face and neck, there is no “one size fits all” approach. Effective communication and comprehensive facial analysis allows Dr. Gadaleta to develop a unique, patient-centric plan for each and every one of his clients. From there, Dr. Gadaleta embraces a conservative approach whenever possible, attempting to meet your aesthetic goals with the least invasive approach possible. His ultimate goal is to leave you with a result that is natural, harmonious, and lasts for years to come.

Dr. Gadaleta is excited to be teaming up with his colleague and fellow facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Timothy Ortlip.
